We are an experienced picture framers and, here at our Lancashire Art Gallery, we offer an expert antique and contemporary art bespoke picture framing service. At the Country House Gallery, Burnley, we have been offering our framing services for almost 40 years. Framing for the public, artists, designers, collectors and museums we endeavour to offer you the best advice on framing, re-framing and art conservation.
Our specialist knowledge and experience in both antique and contemporary art allows us to offer you a bespoke framing service to suit your individual needs. We use only the best of contemporary mouldings and we are also able to offer you genuine antique frames from our extensive collection of over 1000 if required. The importance of the picture frame cannot be overstated. Its purpose is to protect and enhance the artwork within and to give the artwork its own individual space within its surroundings. The frame should neither detract nor be the primary focus of attention but simply elevate the artwork by working in harmony with it. The frame should always live comfortably within its environment but never at the expense of the artwork.
