A superb bow fronted brass log bin with pierced armorial to front and embossed crown to lid. The lid is supported by 2 riveted hinges and opens to reveal a recent but excellent separate liner. This means it can not only be used as a log bin but could also be used for coal. It is supported on four brass bun feet and is in excellent condition. A rare and unusual shape and even rarer to have a lid.
