Winifred Austen
Budgerigars, a fine original etching in colours by Winifred Austen. This is a rare and fine original etching with aquatint by Winifred Austen (1876-1964) Winifred Austen exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy, She was elected to the Society of Women Artists (1902), the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers (1907) and the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours in 1933. This original etching in colours is in perfect condition. It is presented in a natural solid oak frame with archival mounts and bears the signature of the artist and title in pencil in the lower margins together with the publishers blind stamp authenticating this as an artist`s proof.
