An original dry point etching by Herbert Dicksee of a terrier entitled, 'Who Goes There'. This is a rare pencil signed artist's proof on vellum, signed lower left margin which also bears the Fine Art Trade Guild blind-stamp. Published by Frost and Reed, Bristol in 1916. The etching is in excellent condition, mounted and ready for framing. Image size approx 14.5 inches. Mounted size 25.5 inches by 24.5 inches. Please do not confuse this with later unsigned ones on Creswick paper or reproductions. Please note, this item can be framed if required.
